Teams representing the Church of the Nazarene gather in Cincinnati every Labor Day weekend for four decades and counting of slow-pitch softball.
It began with an idea
One person's vision turned into a four-decade tradition. Every Labor Day weekend, 50 to 60 teams travel to Cincinnati for a weekend of slow-pitch softball — Saturday from early morning until the lights go out, Softball Sunday together at Springdale Nazarene, and bracket play through Monday afternoon.
The bond shared through softballs and strikes goes past the game. Teams come to compete, and they leave having built something.
